Besides Prabal Gurung’s (awesome) moody purple digital print RTW Spring 2012 collection, Proenza Schouler (designed by Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez) is my next favorite designer collection for NYC’s Fashion Week. These four are my favorite looks.

An edgy, sexy brocade gown by Marchesa. Some of their collection has a 1920’s flapper feel.

I love this one-shouldered, graffiti print (almost classic Pucci print) gown.

It’s cool and edgy (digital print, the cut-outs, and twists and ties) yet delicate and beautiful (mesh and fit).
Here’s a short read on his Spring collection inspiration on the NY Times’ Style blog

Most of this collection was monochrome playing with bias cuts, sheer material and crop/bikini tops (which makes me either want to drop 15 pounds or personally feed these models chocolate cake on the latter).
I like this little burst of vibrant yellow in this collection.

I like the laser cut outs on this halter gown. (And yes, Karlie knows how to work the confident sexy look on the runway.)

I love the bright neon color as a full, voluminous skirted gown.
